first_imgby Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — The following are a list of criminal court complaints recently filed by the Sumner County Attorney’s office.These are formal charges introduced into the Sumner County District Court system. The suspects listed in the complaint have not been tried by a judge or jury. All citizens are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.•••••Karrie Woods, of Flint, Mich. was charged with fleeing or eluding a police officer, a level 9 felony; speeding, a traffic infraction; improper display of license plate, an unclassified misdemeanor; and failure to provide proof of insurance, a Class B misdemeanor.On Feb. 28, 2014, Woods is accused of driving a 2009 Saturn SUV on Interstate 35 around a tire deflating device set by a Kansas State Trooper with improper license plate placement and no proof of insurance.•••••Arthur Goodnight, born in 1982, of Oxford was charged with domestic battery, a Class B misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor.Goodnight is accused of hitting a household member during an argument on Feb. 28, 2014 and using abusive words to alarm her parents.•••••Kent Eyman, born in 1978, of Wellington was charged with possession of methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.Eyman is accused of possessing a small bag and a syringe containing meth.•••••Justin Osborne, born in 1991, of Arkansas City was charged with defective headlight, a traffic infraction; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.Osborne is accused of operating a vehicle without two lighted headlamps on the vehicle between sunset and sunrise. He also allegedly had a small baggy of marijuana on the driver’s seat of this car.last_img
